Dr. Kathryn Gamble’s unique analytical and strategic approach has led to record-breaking campaigns throughout her 30-year fundraising career managing successful major gift programs.
- During her tenure at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Kathryn led a record-breaking $50.6 million campaign.
- While at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she served as Director of Development for the Morehead Planetarium and the Health Sciences Library during the $420 million Bicentennial Campaign.
- As Director of Development at Saint Mary’s School, she provided leadership for the $16.6 million campaign – then the largest campaign in school history.
- At East Carolina University, she had oversight of the campaign planning study phase for a $200 million campaign. At the North Carolina Museum of Art, she raised over $21 million during her tenure.
Kathryn’s doctoral research focused on nonprofit board governance examining the effects of CEO power and multiple boards on governing board role fulfillment. She regularly presents her research at the annual ARNOVA (Association of Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action) conference.
Kathryn Gamble received her MBA from Queens University in Charlotte and completed her Ph.D. in Public Administration at North Carolina State University.
